well..... if they didnt have astronaut suits they would just explode because there is no pressure outside of them and alot of pressure inside of them, and if they were they would just die of suffocation because there is no oxygen lol

Millions of people that day watched the evening news of September 21st, 2020. NASA was planning to launch a new space shuttle to the twentieth planet in our solar system, Eon8. Many thought this task was impossible, a waste of money, and a sure death to those who were brave enough to accept this mission. One man, Joe Bob, thought those people were foolish, and had no general knowledge that anything is possible.
Joe Bob walked into the NASA station, where he worked and trained for days where he would have the opportunity to one day be in space. Rufus Bower was head of NASA and would determine who would enter space. A meeting of all the astronauts entered an auditorium to find out who the astronauts to take foot on Eon8 would be. Five would be lucky enough to be part of space history. Rufus described the mission in full detail:
“Ladies and gentleman. You have been told to enter this auditorium for one reason today. Five astronauts will be taking part in a space exploration like none other. As many of you know, a twentieth planet was discovered 5 years ago. We have yet to understand much about this planet, so this will be a mission of discovery and wonder. The five astronauts I have picked were chosen for very specific reasons due to each of your individual strengths. Will the following please stand and come up here, for you have been chosen. Riley Smith, Patrick Beyer, blockedis Bower, Keven Coleman, and Joe Bob.
Astounded that Joe was picked over all the other astronauts was incredible. He could not wait to inform his wife and kids. That night, after a day of celebration and excitement, Joe went home and told the good news to his wife. His wife, Michelle, was not as happy as Joe had hoped. Michelle was worried about her kids and their future if Joe would not return from space. Nightmares ran though Michelle mind that night, going over every possible situation that could happen. Even though Joe informed her that safety was the first priority in NASA, Michelle was still worried. Joe's kids however, were excited as could be.
Many months passed of intense training and preparation. Joe, Keven, blockedis, Pat, and Riley were all ready to enter space. The launch was set for June 12th, 2021. To Joe, this day couldn’t have come any sooner, before he knew it, he was putting his space suit, and helmet on and walking to the space shuttle. Out of the five astronauts, Joe seemed to know the most about the spaceship, and how it worked. The countdown began at the launch site, 5...4...3... Thousands of people stood miles from the site, ready for the shuttle to launch. Michelle was there, sobbing in tears, as her husband took flight as Mach 8. The speed of the shuttle was almost 4 times faster than the shuttle before it. It’s new sleek design was made for moving faster since Eon8 was almost 1 lightyear away. blockedis noticed as they passed Neptune how fast they really were moving. As the bottom, and middle of the shuttle had fallen off as planned, all that was left was the top, to just float in space. As the five men got comfortable, in eating meals and relaxing, Joe smelled something that was not right. Floating in the ship, he swam into the part of the ship where the oxygen was kept. Suddenly, something exploded, and a scream was let out towards the front of the ship. Riley’s leg had been de-attached after something had exploded. NASA quickly noticed something was wrong and contacted Joe on the ship. It was too late for anyone to save Riley, his leg was in such bad shape there was nothing they could do. Patrick put Riley in a body bag, and set him aside while him and Joe went to see what the explosion was about. News quickly spread of the explosion, and Joe’s wife was as frantic as could be.
The four remaining astronauts had no choice but to abandon the ship. Because the ship was too far away from earth, NASA could do nothing about the astronauts. Audio connection to NASA had been cut off, and now only Joe, blockedis, Pat, and Keven communicate to each other. As the four astronauts began to float away from the ship, there was a loud bang. Pieces of what was left of the ship flew towards blockedis and Keven. Unable to dodge the flying pieces, they were killed after their helmets were taken off, supplying them with the only oxygen they had left. Joe and blockedis had become very good friends, almost as if they had been friends since school. Tears fell down Joe’s cheek as he remembered how much fun they had working together as astronauts. Pat quickly directed Joe away from the ship and had to use the rest of their energy to float away. Oxygen was running low for both of them, they both knew they would soon die. Pat turned his head toward Joe and asked with a soft voice, “So, tell me about your family.” Joe had his family on his mind the entire trip, hoping that everything would be okay and he would return safely. He replied, “I have a beautiful wife, Michelle, she has brown hair and means the world to me... I have kids too, two actually, a little girl and a twelve year old son. They are what keeps me going everyday. Just the smile of my little daughter makes me have a great day.” Joe looked over, and saw pats eyes were shut. Scared that he may be gone, he frantically screamed. NASA suddenly got a little connection of Joe’s speaker and heard his final words. Joe slowly said “Goodbye.”
The astronauts family’s were informed of what had happened. A huge ceremony was held on Mars for the brave men who lost their lives that day. The family’s met for the first time since the mission, each of them saddened by this tragic event. Michelle, and her kids took the death of their father pretty hard, but their son, Mike, was ambitious to take over for his father. Both of Joe’s children were later employed at NASA and Mike was given the opportunity to explore Eon8. The mission was a success.
