I want to retract my statement on my previous statement in the topic "IE&>MF1.5". I found out that my week old computer was infected by virus that crippled my processor and corrupted my Windows. I traced the virus to Windows Internet Explorer. I had to reformat my computer and it wiped my important buisness files. I was damn lucky to make a backup in my pendrive. I salute to you guys, "F*CK MICRO$OFT".
You probably didn't downloaded it officialy from microsoft's site and from some unknown mirror? Also IE7 hasn't been released officially yet.
Well, all I have to say is it was probably just all the crap you were looking at and weren't being careful about it. I have ran the new beta since its release on all of my computers and haven't had a single problem. Just because you had an unfortionate thing happen to you that was part of the program doesnt mean it is in every download, or even was in yours. Anyways, when im surfing, dl'ing, anything of that sort I use firefox/deerpark 2 as well. Its alot safer.
can we finally say "We told you so"? Well, it looks like the fight is only between Opera and Firefox again
Just a thought, but maybe it was some virus that attached itself to IE? Lots of people get that MSN virus which you cannot get rid of unless you uninstall MSN, since the virus has hooked itself into the MSN code. But ignore that, I don't want to defend IE :]
Opera is the best browser. Its the fastest, lightest and highest security. I can say its better than Firefox.
