    now it appears he wishes to take over the internet, the last place for free speech!

    Rupert Murdoch now OWNS myspace!

    And by the way, GOOGLE IS HELPFUL FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW WHO HE IS.

    He is the owner of LOTS of newspapers, news channels etc. One of the biggest people in the media industry.

    But this is WAY OLD news.

    ^It's a bit like the Google>Youtube takeover, Murdoch OWNS myspace but he plays no part in running it. Tom is still technically the... "manager" of myspace, he just doesn't own it completely.

    ^Probably. I can't actually remember all the channels he owned but it's quite likely.

    He owns and created Fox News, you know that channel thats supposed to be "Fair and Balanced"...for Rupert Murdoch...
