PS3 FTW I have always been a PS fan and always will be. i think overall the PS3 will own the Wii. Nintendo hasn't been up to speed since its rivalry with Sega.

I heard though that the PS3 is dropping its prices to compete with the 360 and if thats true I might buy both PS3(For KH3 Mainly) and Wii just for the weird controller idk

    Oof?
    Wii please.
PS3 is a big 360, they've lost loads of exclusive titles and there's not much difference spec wise, or at least what they will use.

I had a PS3 pre-ordered, going to cancel it though. Too much money for such a small improvement.

Here's what I want to say:

I've seen a lot of posters on this board saying: "The PS3 will be able to play games, but also play movies, and games, surfs the internet, and cleans your dishes.

Only problem is, I have an iPod already, as well as a DVD player, and I also seem to have a laptop. As for Blu-Ray, it isn't a standard yet. There are plenty of competiting technologies, so before I spend money on a Blu-Ray player of any type, I'll just see who wins.

In short, it's not like any of us will actually use those extra features when we already have standardized equipment for them already.

I like the Wii because I am more of a social gamer. I invite people over, and we play Mario Kart, or Super Smash Bros, or Soul Caliber (on my ps2). I am also an avid online player. In short, I like being in contact with people. The PS3 doesn't seem to be that kind of machine.

I like the WII because it isn't trying to be anything else than what it is supposed to be - a straight up, innovative gaming system. It has built in WiFi, a built in Opera web browzer, free online play and the works, but at heart, it's a gaming system. I play games to have fun, and with this new system of gaming using motion sensors, I'm sure to get my fill of it. I'm not so concerned about how the games look, as long as it isn't a 64 bit polygon from the N64 days, then I'm fine. And, if the graphics are anything like the GameCube, then I'm fine with that.

I will also be purchasing an XBox360. I have never owned an Xbox before, but I like what they're going for. My friends tell me they offer a very good online service and their games are top notch. I can't wait to play PSU on it.

The PS3...well, I owned a PS2, but the games that they had never really appealed to me. I bought fighting games, GT, a MGS game or two, and SOCOM (which I played religiously, might I add). But, that's really it. Plus, it doesn't have WiFi built into the standard package, which is a big letdown for me. I don't have 600 dollars to spend on a package for full functionality.

In short, I like where the Wii is going. I won't be getting the PS3 for a number of reasons, but I will be getting a Wii and an Xbox360 for the same money.

    The wii for two reasons.

The only reason I ever bought a ps2 and ps was for it's rpgs. If microsoft can bring more rpgs, like it currently is. I will not need a system mostly for rpgs. Which is why I will most likely not get a ps3. It all depends on the games. Either way I will still get the wii.

The other reason is price. 600 dollars is expensive, when I can find something alot cheaper just a slight lower preformance(360). Plus after the annoucement of gran turismo where you have to buy everything(equaling over 400-1000), it just made me distrust sony even more.

I grew up with Nintendo. Playstation games never appealed to me. Crash is a freak, or so he looks like one. The games he had uninerested me 20 minutes into it.

Super Mario, Smash Bros, LEGEND OF ZELDA TWILIGHT PRINCESS, all extremely awesome looking games. The Ps3 isn't showing or delivering anything I want.

    Wii. Simple. Me.
