Like topic says my x800gto is acting up after 4 mouths of owning it heres wat is going on with it when im surfing the web or playing css my screen turns shades of purple and and slowly goes back to normal wtf is going on with it my older 9250 did the same thing then it when out with in the same time period! wth is wrong with it ???? if this thing goes out im making the which to a 7800GS OC AGP
it is most likely your monitor commiting suicide slowly... try a different monitor if possible, ill bet it will clear.
happens to me with my x800 the solution is to wait the next day when im not high, and usually i dont see different colors
I've had times where i onle partially plugged in the monitor and had similar results. it shouldn't do too much harm(i mean heck when yo overvolt a monitor all that happens is stuff gets really bright for a bit) just check than, and if youhave to, quickly check oher things. I've had a similar issue with a 7800GT ingame(only ingame) though, try messing with drivers too. and FYI i wouldn't put any more money inot an AGP card again reuseability of such said cards is relatively low.
did all that im still seeing purple shades i mosty been seeing it when my computer is been booted up for the frist hour when i see it alot
I've had the same on Hl2 lost coast, some really wierd purple shades in the game, never happend in windows though. Also PLEASE, use normal english, capitals and dots. Are you sure everything is connected, cable isn't stuck or something?
