I just don't like the thought of an internet browser being that built in my operating system to be honest. Any security flaw with I (which are bound to exist, they do with all programs) could criple your entire system. By the way RC2 on Firefox 2.0 is out incase anyone didn't realize. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0/releasenotes/
Dude, you're going offtopic again. I was talking that IE7 being better than MF1.5 not MF2. By the way, I tried the the new beta version and it barely improved. We just have to wait and see for MF2. For now, its IE7>MF1.5.
I was just noting that it had come out. You don't have anything to say about how using IE leaves your operating system highly vulnerable.
Nope IE7 is even more protected than MF1.5. It has an antiphishing security which MF1.5 don't have. MF's Popup blocker ain't foolproof y'know.
But how does that Anti-Phishing help me r anyone else who has enough common sense to not enter personal data into a shady site? IE's flaws still could do a lot more harm than FF simply because it's embedded into your operating system. You still don't seem to have any response to that though...
Rookie users are more likely to go to a website that takes advantage of the fact that IE has flaws that allow viruses to get into the operating system and make the computer totally unusable. Again, for the third time: Do you have anything to say about the security threat of a virus going through IE into the Windows operating system?
exactly. If you have no say on the intigrated part, then i seriously hope you get a virus in IE, and ----s up your system...
Haha that's laughable that you think internet explored 7 is better. Sure it's a big improvement from ie6 but i'm still going to be using firefox for now. I generally don't like microsoft softaware, i'm using openoffice instead of microsoft office, and when i get my new pc, i'm going to use ubuntu linux instead of windows.
First of all ... Microsoft isnt the best company to trust ... just because the worlds richest man owns it ... look at the amount of security flaws in just one piece of software.. FF is better than IE - More reliable and I am a IE user - FF seems more safer and secure.. Havent used opera so dont know about that - But coming from a IE and FF user it seems FF is overtaking but also using IE just for some sites that FF doesnt view properly ... My opinion DarkStar
