heyo- well i would just like to know how to send files to the other computers on my network. its a wireless network. i got a printer to work on the network but i have no idea how to send files to each other. help please. oh this might help or not. i am running on a 2Wire Router/Modem. tanks
Generally, if you are sharing printers, it is as simple as setting the file to 'Shared'. You can do this by right-clicking the file, then going into 'Properties'. Select the 'Sharing' tab, and enable 'Share this File/Folder'. To access it from the other computer, use 'My Network Places' and connect to the computer you are sharing from. Good luck!
ok, you need to share as said above, you can share a whole hard drive if you want, and set it to the user to be able to change your files.
