Gimp Vs. Ps

I also have never used GIMP, only Photoshop. At college we have started to use Macromedia Fireforks, and i hate it!

 

photoshop ftw! its so much better than gimp is. has so many more things you can do with it

 

i downloaded gimp then deleted the next day, it seems liek they copied off photoshop so much

 

PS is a Million times better then Gimp

 

ps ftw worth it gimp sucks imo

 

Well, I think that PS is probably better, but I use GIMP because I have no money. And I think that GIMP is a little more user-friendly. I have seen some really awesome stuff done in GIMP, but I have also seen awesome stuff done in PS, so I'm not sure.

ps will always be better since it is the original and Gimp will never catch up since its free-ware and a copy cat

 

I'm a gimp user, and always will be because I don't feel like staking out 700 bucks for PS, nor will I get it illegally. I made my current sig with gimp, and though it's not as great as some ps sigs, It's good enough for me. (Especially since Gimp is free)

 

GIMP SUCKS! ive had both and photoshop is way better.....

 

This argument is always brought up,and Photoshop always wins..lol.

 

I use photoshop, like my current signature is made.

 

Photoshop GMW. Much better for its effects and system.

 

i have gimp and gimpSHOP (made to look like PS)

photoshop is more proffessional, more features, in one window (unless you have gimpshop.
gimp is pathetic compared to PS, it is free, ok for some people but if you want to get into good sigs/lp's then photoshop is a must
