First on server won't depend on your ram usually, it's your hard drive speed. Get a 10000RPM and I can guarentee you'll be first on the map against all the 7200'ers. 2GB should be a must for this game, hopefully dual SLI 6600 GT's can run on all high
game looks sweet ive been playing it honestly i like this better than the others but what do you think they will do next they have done everything are they going to go back to prehistoric times ?
If I had a good computer this would be my main game for months lol. My computer couldnt run the damn skins on this game -_- lol. It looks like an amazing game, hopefully i get a new computer soon

good luck playing on full details with 2 6600's btw not gunna happen. BF2 wont run (smoothly) at high on a 7800GT (i own a system with one and know first hand) let alone on 2 6600s (2 x 6800s still dont compare to 1 7800GT). But, it should play.. i tested the demo on my friends computer, didnt play for long but it looked great deffinately going to buy this game.
I am probably going to get it, I am an old BF1942 Desert Combat Final player myself but 2142 could be interesting...I get my new computer in like 2 days anyway so it should run fine *4 gigs of ram and dual 7800's*.

Weird, I ran BF2 at high fine with a freakin x800gto...1gb ram, x2 4200+ cpu 1280x1024 only lagged during those times that it sent down all those rockets on top of me (the ones that commanders send..)
