I recently obtained a Inspiron 2200 from a friend for 100$, and I've been doing numerous things on it.

I was wondering if you guys know of any programs and such that are made for laptops.

I'm not asking for free stuff, just programs to make my laptop run fast and efficient.

anything that will run on your PC will be fine on a laptop, except games, which may be slower if they are internet-based.

If you didnt know that......why do you have a laptop? lol

    Jeez soo harsh....

I have a problem that occurred recently.

I cannot change my BG. When I go to properties to try it everything isn't clickable. I can only choose solid colors for the whole screen.

    Okay what happens is this:

I right click the desktop and go to Properties.

The window pops up and theres the options for your desktop, I go Desktop, and the only things I can click are: Color, and Customize Desktop. I reset my desktop, And still nothing.
