I don't like all of the windows. Photoshop is a lot easier to get around.

My friend CURLYHAIREDBOY is a GIMP user and has Photoshop results.
You might know him from gimptalk.com

As for myself I've never used GIMP.

I had Elements 3 then CS, now CS2.

I downloaded a trial of CS2. God I miss that. I'm still proud to have 6.0.

Photoshop all the way. I've used GIMP before, never stuck to me though. I'm sure there are a few people who have become pretty good with the program though.

Yes, God forbid anyone wanting to use GIMP over PS. <_<

Nice to see the elitists coming around when a topic involving GIMP arises, regardless of what forum said topic appears. Nobody was asking which was better. He (or she? Hard to tell) was only asking who used GIMP here, yet some people chose to use the thread as yet another opportunity for the "OMG, PS rulez" arguement (without anything to back it up I might add).

Who really cares? Unless you're doing large art projects on a regular basis or working in graphics in a ----- manner then the differences in results is very minor and (here's the important bit) the program does not make the artist.

I'm glad that most people here managed to keep their posts respectful though.

    [/rant]

As for me I use GIMP mostly and never used PS due to the costs of getting it legally, and I'm not interested in the "alternative" methods.
