    i wouldnt really call green day or sum 41 punk. i mean, ya they dress the past but thats like dressing up a homeless man and sending him into an lab to do science work and stuff. they look the part but dont deliver.

    oh and uh, the johnstons? i dunno, my friend told me about them i havent hurd them yet

    Thrice is pretty good. And hawthorne heights is sorta punk.

    They're pop, but they try to be punk.

    Mosh has posted a pretty good list. I've always though of Ima Robot as more techno though :/

    Yeah Ima Robot does alot of weird techno, but their songs that have more guitar and less synth are punk like.

    Theres better old school punk, the Ramones and Pistols are over rated.
