Im probably going to get around $300 for my birthday. Im going to buy me earphones that cost around $70 and want to spend the rest maybe on a mp3 player but not sure what kind I should get. I was thinking about getting an ipod nano but for the memory space they are kinda expensive. Any comments appreciated.
There are all new colors like the old iPod minis I would suggest getting the lowest GB regular (video) iPod.

Creative one is best. The gigabeat is pretty good but eh...my friends just broke but i think he dropped it..still.. i dropped my creative zen xtra tons of times without it breakin at all

totally. I love mine. I've had it for about 9 months now, it still has excellent quality, the earbuds have yet to stop working. Overall, Creative kicks the iPod's ass.
