Norton Prob

    when i right click to scan something for viruses, spyware and that kind of thing at the end it will say there were 0 files scanned. is it actually scanning them or just saying it did?

    hahaha... Norton sucks...

    had to let that out..

    anyway, I think that's Norton's way of saying "0 files are infected"

    anyone want to clear this up?

    Nope - it should say '1 file scanned'...

    What version of Norton are you using?

    im using version 12.2.0.13 (if that helps any). it used to say how many files were scanned up until a couple of days ago.

    I eman as in:

    Norton Internet Secuity 2005
    or
    Norton AntiVirus 2006

    and so on...

    This is a known issue that Symantec are working on fixing (although it may now have been fixed in Norton Antivirus 2007).

    Don't worry - your files are being scanned and your computer security has not been comprimised.
