Nintendo Ds Help!

Hey people my original ds is lost so I am getting a new one.
So please help me out

Should I get the regular on or the nintendo ds lite one?

Also please make some suggestions for ds games. Which games should I buy?

 

I would say go for the Lite if you can afford it. The Regular DS is what I have, but I've heard the Lite is much better, and you can find replacments for lost things like the stylus, unlike the origional DS. Oh, and if you have a Wifi connection, I would definatly say Metroid Prime Hunters. That game is somewhat like halo. Not as good, but still nice for such a system. And the Multiplayer is a hoot! BUT, if you only want a game with a good story mode, this isn't the game for you, because the story mode sucks.

The Lite and the regular DS should cost the same, atleast it does here.

Also I'm not sure, but if you like the Final Fantasy series, when FF3 comes out for DS, nintendo is making it a package that when you buy the lite you get a copy of FF3. There's also pokemon pearl/diamond :-D

 

i still got the big bulky original launch DS.... and it works fine, it's damn durable..... i've dropped it... alot... on concrete and even once into the shallow waters of daytona beach........ it plays fine... whoever said they don't sell spare stylus' for it is wrong... i've had to buy 2 packs (each pack comes with 3 stylus') of extra stylus.......

anyways.. if i was you i'd get a ds lite (yes alot of them may have dead pixels and the hinges may crack... 4 of my friends have/had this problem) but the screen resolution is alot better, so and it is more ergonomic..... unless you plan on flashing a normal ds then you can get it almost as bright............


get a ds lite....... get a warranty on it... and abuse it a little bit.... check if there are any early signs of the hinges cracking or if you have dead pixels... if not... keep it.. if so... trade it in.

 

I have a DS Lite but i have played a normal DS I say to get the DS Lite.
Screen is stronger, brighter display, better placed power button so no accidental power offs, stylus bigger so it makes a much better grip to hold.
As for games definitely get Mario Kart and get DS Web Browser coming soon (supposed to be released December 5).

 

Using xbox-logic, buy the normal version as it's cheaper.

 

Lite, looks slicker and probably easier to find then a regular. Havnt seen a regular in a store in awhile.

 

DSLite is really sexy. the backlight is brighter than the regular one, and many other things i don't know because i haven't tried the reg one. and for games: final fantasy 3, animal crossing:ww, and the mario games.

 

id say the ds lite
my sis friend had one and trust me
the lite is wayyy brighter
and less bulkier

 

i'd say to buy the DS Lite because that's the one i got
