this is my opinion- people who say (misunderstood) think that because thats how there parent are whoever they kissed ass to thought if ppl acually thought from themselves and watch what these people are doing to us because of "allah" you would know that religion is NOT stable at all and needs serious reconstrucution

It is misunderstood, it may be violent, but like I said, their violence is not the same as our, nor is the time the same. The Quran was written awhile ago. (relitivly new compared to other religions, but eh, whatever) Some radicles make it out to be a religion of strapping bombs to themselves and running into buildings. I don't know for sure, but I'm almost positive the Quran says no where to do that. If it does show me, please. I'm a blockedistian, so I've never read the Quran fully, or anything of that nature.

I concurr, i think ALL religion should be abolished, it has caused/ is the main cause of all major and minor wars - without religion, there wouldnt be any need for war. According to two acedemics whom i know very well, one studies religion, and one studies polotics, Religion itself is dying out, and will soon be almost gone, after thousands and thousands of years religion has been shoved down our throats and we were made to believe ot whichever religion it may be. But now, human nature is turning the tide, relgion is on the decrease at a large and rapid rate, people are becoming sick and tired of being steriotyped as this or that, and sick of being told what is right and what is wrong by some religios leader whom, like any religious follower - hasnt EVER seen anything to prove they are beliving in a worth while cause. sorry for the essay / rant!
well said ... the religion iteself isnt evil or anything I belive all or most religions teach us the right things it's the people who misuse, abuse, misterpret and distort the teachings that are causing hurt to everyone else
I find this question rather offending, i mean seriously can u inaging going to the town center and asking ppl is islam a evil religion. you could have asked the question a bit more less harsly like "DO YOU think that islam is a misunderstood religion?"
one this poll i think is stupid but apeerently 13 people who voted yes prooved me wrong, and u can't just abolish religion that would lead to more war and it'll be hard near impposible to find enough people willing to do such a thing
I believe that the religion is highly misunderstood. The people that are blowing themselves up in the name of "Allah" are radicals that are just corrupting the religion as a means to justify themselves. Like .//Xen said, you can't base your opinion on an entire religion based on the actions of a select few.
The Israelites took over that country long before America was around. They didn't take it over from Muslims either. They overtook Caaninites. (sp?) Please know your history before claiming America is the devil. I can go deeper if you'd like. I will actually. Jacob's (who's new name is Israel) family, (Joseph's brothers and their wifes) moved to Egypt because of a famine. Egypt took them as slaves, then they left after the ten plagues. They came back, and Caananites had the land, so they took it back. Whatever, then King David (after King Saul) came and made the country a super power, left it to his son Solomon, who is known as the Wisest man to ever live. While he was king, Israel was peaceful, and richest then it ever was. After he died, the kingdom split, into the Northern and Southern kingdom. The Northern kingdom was taken over by the Assyrians, and the Southern kingdom was taken over by the Chaldeans, or New Babalonians. (sp?) This is when the Israelites lost their heritage in the sense of, their tribes. No one knows what happened to the Ten tribes of the Northern kingdom. (I may have that mixed up with Southern, but I don't think so) Then after that Rome took over the world (lol) and blah blah blah. Then at the end of WWII, we gave them back THEIR land to begin with. Sorry, it was theirs to begin with, it's theirs now. We are not terrorist, thank you.
