clean the drivers left over from your Dell's disc, sounds like a driver conflict

If I may stpe in and answer this question to the best of my knowledge.

RAM is only a minor part in loading times over yahoo (I assume you are watching the vids on yahoo in your broswer).

What could be the problem is that your internet is having bandwith issues so your recieving a sloppy connection.

Without knowing more info I can't help you much further.

What kind of connection do you have?
How much RAM do you have?

just found out why my pc kept shutting down whenever i launched a game up, my cpu... it was 90c or 200F.... thats not cool

RAM wouldn't be the issues, nor hardware. it all sounds software related, because you didn't do a truely clean install. obtain a clean copy of XP and reinstall that.
