Hey, I recently made my two first photoshop-based webdesigns First one is a Final Fantasy Page: Click edit: fixed the header, decreased the blur effect in the navigation and fixed Yuna so we can see her whole sexy body+costume ^^ Click.v2 And the second one is a coded page for my GuildWars Alliance (though 1 Link is missing and 2 links got no content yet ^^): Click me too IMPORTANT: This page isn't quite compatible with IE! So, what do you think of 'em? btw: the content is in german, 'cause I'm from Austria, but nevermind
Ok, out of the Finial Fantasy ones, the first one is the best. As you said you overdone it a little on the banner on your second try . The overall design of it isn't that bad at all I like the top navigation idea, using the heads. As for the left navigation it doesn't really fit in that well. Firstly the gradient is too light at the top of it, which makes it hard to see where it starts. Secondly i think you should maybe try a darker purple and see what that looks like. Your second one agian is ok. It it a little to wide, and something is making me have to scroll to the right to get it centered, and i am using 1024x768. Not sure why that is, maybe something in teh coding. The text on the banner is to hard to read though, try using a darker colour. The images below the banner have too much white in them, it spolis the look of the template in my opinion. Keep up the good work though
Okay, fixed some things: 1. I think the header looks quite better now 2. decreased the blur effect in the navigation 3. fixed Yuna, so she won't be cut from the page, 'cause some people told me that this was looking weird So now folks can see her whole fine body+costume ^^ Click me and get a Cookie for free
