Alright, I own an intel based Imac. Ever since I downloaded itunes 7, the computer keeps resetting on me, I have to reinstall messenger every time, none of my settings stay the same, and I lost all my bookmarks in FF. Now, I know there is still some data there, cause it still retains a lot of my cookies for signing into FF, and it remembers my hotmail account. It's kinda like a mac safe mode, and I have no clue how to fix it.

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

don't use firefox on a mac, try Camino, made by the same people, but specifically for macOSX

Honestly, in my opinion Safari is the best OSX browser out there. Camino is good, but like Firefox, it has memory leakage issues.

    probably good advice.

again Mac ISx ight have a few more vulnerabilities than other OSes, but noone takes advantage of them, and safari is nowhere enar like IE6, it is up to date and not integrated into the OS.

I like the feal and features of firefox and have the RAM to use it
but quite frankly it pisses me off at times.

well, my version of safari doesn't seem to have tabs, and I me (being a total software noob) can't find any plug-ins for it. So, FF stays for now I guess.
