I was just thinking it might help the forum run a little better if you filter out certain members..I was thinking this...

Members w/ less than 100 posts and who have been inactive for over a month....

    It might help significantly... :)

How about if the member went on vacation for a month? lol.
I believe something similar to that has been implimented, and the staff do regular cleanups, the one you specified isn't realistic though.

Nope this wont work since theres lots of people with less then 100 posts and have tons of credits and that are inactive for more than a month doing this will PISS PEOPLE OFF. Also they do a filter with people who has 0 posts like once every 3 months.

admins clean out the members with no posts every once in a while. thats why member numbers are 110k+ but it says there are only around 60k members.

I don't really see what harm there is in having members who aren't active. People with zero posts ain't causing any harm so I'd just leave them. Plus there's always the chance they'll post so better to give them that opportunity rather than delete there account.

Oh and to answer your question on the BD shoutbox no I don't want to request anything  :P ;)

Its takes alot of time to do it, plus whats the point the more members there is the bigger the forum is, but it can also help lag.

it doesnt take that long. If i remember right (Ihavent used the Admin section on IPB for a while now) you can just filter out members by the click of a button. Just specify which members you wanna get rid of and easy as that theyve gone.

I believe that all members with 0 posts and that have not logged in for several months were clearned out relatively recently.
