Psp Homebrew? What?

Well I bought a PSP(great 'investment') and theres something called homebrew what is it? Good? Bad? Worth downloading?

 

its games made by other people ( i heard )

 

I think it's like open source for the PSP (comes with a browser, etc.)

I have it on my PSP and I'm really not sure of all that it does.

 

yea, its a bunch of games and mods to a psp

i think if you use ahy of them it voids the warranty

go to the forums there all about psp homebrew (note i have downgraded my psp to v1.5 and can download games to my memory card(like real games that are ment for psp) also i have a radio on it am/fm and its a universal remote

go to pspupdates.com's forum. it's a good site for homebrew newbies where they should all go to learn more about the stuff

homebrew on the PSP is really just stuff like homebrew games, emulators, mods, playing backed up games, and stuff like that. it doesn't void the warranty if you use any of it since you're basically not doing anything to the psp hardware.
