well, just get a store-bought one, with C2D, and at least 1-2gb of ram.

since you cant buy online, any computer shop's one is the second-best.

core 2 duo, the new intel processor, Dells sell them, on a post a little ways down, you could buy that and upgrade your ram yourself...

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!

If your computer has 3gHz processor, 1GB of ram, IT DEFINETELY HAS A BETTER GRAPHICS CARD THAN 9250!!

DO NOT BUY THAT! It wont run BF2, not even in your dreams!

First of all, what you need to do is, Google for two images. Google with "PCI SLOT", "AGP SLOT" "PCI-E SLOT" I am 100% sure that you have PCI slot and either AGP or PCI-E. Once you have found what they look like, you need to open up the computer case, check what you have.

Once youfind out what you have, you go search for a good and decent GFX card for that slot. Id say you buy something like Ati Radeon x800 or nVidia 6600GT. Those will run your games decently! My sellf, I have x800, and can play BF2 on the best settings with no problem. Some games, like elders scrolls: Oblivion will cause lag on the best setttings, but is still playable on lower.

Those GFX cards cost you like 150$ or less. And it is not that important if the GFX card has 128MB or 256MB of memory, but Id suggest you take 256MB one.

But what ever you do, do not buy that piece of... Youll be playing tetris on a major pissed off state, if you do.

You can PM me, if you would like some more info :P I claim to know something of computers :)

Um ok... Why is that a piece of ----? It's a 256mb... and my computer doesn't have a better gfx card then that one it's a 64mb and it's just a default graphics card that came with my IBM computer

it si a POS because the GPU on it is slow...

it is like runing a pentium 1 with 2GB EDO RAM. The ram on that card is sooo slow you might as well have 0mb vRAM since the system RAM is about the same speed.

the core won't be powerfull enough to run games at anything more than 800*600, maybe 1024*768 on relatively low settings without extensive filtering and at those levels, it is highely unlikely that any mroe than 30-90mb of VRAM will be utilized.

    bang/$ card
    GeForce 6200PCi 30$
    radeon 9600pro 60$
    x800GTO 85$
    x850XT PE 120$
    x1900AIW 200$/GeForce 7900GT if on sale
    x1900XT varies... 230-270$
