Right, I have a build but I'm not too happy with it. There's stuff I'd like to keep and stuff I wouldn't. It needs to be under £850! It cannot go over. All the parts need to be from www.dabs.co.uk aswell.

Here's the stuff I want to keep, hardware will need to be compatible:
    Monitor:
    http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quick...NavigationKey=0

Graphics Card (Motherboard will need to be SLi compatible:
    http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quick...NavigationKey=0

    Hard Drive:
    http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quick...NavigationKey=0

    Case:

The rest is up to you. As I said, the motherboard needs to be SLi compatible as I'm running dual 6600's.
I also need peripherals, e.g Monitor and Mouse. No need for speakers, headset. Processor must be dual core, as I want this to be a powerful PC.
Also the PSU must be very powerful (high wattage, over 500).
All people who submit an appropiate build will get a [+]rep.
    Thanks.

Budget is at the top of the page. £850.
So about $1600. This is including the stuff I've named.

ok, I'd suggest either an AM2 (AMD) or C2D (Intel) motherboard/CPU

    for motherboard:

Asus is good for AM2 as well as C2D, but it is a bit high.

ASRock and MSI are low-end boards, I had one in my socket A system.

Others I am not sure of.

    for cpu:

AM2 X2 3800 or above is good. you can always upgrade to K8L or i believe AM3.

C2D, wait till Xelink comes on, he can help you more.

    for memory:

the memory on this site is crap....

byt the time you'de want the extra power from SLI, it wouldn't be worth it to keep your current card, you'de just want to sell of your old card and buy an entierly new one.

also ditch the raptor, the new PRM drives have close enough speed. I went from a WD RAPTOR 1500(effectivel same drive) to a seagate 250GB 16mb cache PRM drive and don't really notice a diference.

case it's allright and you'de be able to make by with it.

also heatspreaders dont' amtter wortha damn on RAM, it is argueable as to whether or not they actually drive temperatures up.

and 160 pounds for CASE 4 DDR2-533 isn't exactly great.
I'd have to look around on what to recomend. i beleive that 1L should be compareable to 1 dollar even after their excessive price gouging and currency conversions.

I want the 10000 RPM because, I'll be playing BF2 a lot and apparently verifying will be much faster.
Overclockers' RAM was cheaper, 2x1gb dual channel was about £120.
