This is my second render ever..and Im looking for constructive criticism..

Pretty good cut. There's still sort of an outline around him and the image quality wasn't too good.

Quite nice mate but the image quality was bad

 

I don't like the fog, and I can still see some white. Then again, I'm not one to talk.

 

When cutting, always stick to the original size. In this case: something x 1024. Always retain the original dimension unless it's ridiculously large.

About the cut itself, it's a good cut. Everything you've done is right with one exception - you need to cut deeper so there's no outline.
