So what has Vista got for me?Precious little. To be honest ever since xp launched this activation rubbish.XP Has been a complete Nightmare.Because i change the Hardware in my computer more often than i change socks .Alot of Xp owners stick with not activating there products as of your name getting listed on the Microsoft database and it marks that the sofware they have sold you has been sold and they render the software they sold no longerneeding to be re-installed on another computer.

Vista Is looking even worse with its activation features.Which may result in me havng Just one computer running vista to provide me the use of newer software which will not be available with XP.Time will tell on this matter.Personally i dont think ill be changing all my home systems too Vista O_O.Or may have to slowly move to it.It must worry the guys at microsoft that there software is being so overated.Which is making microsoft try to constantly make tjere product better.Sure it cool to get a great new OS but the making of XP was alot more laid back and i think this is what gave it back in the day that edge in technology.Alot of people are talking about the patches found in XP.Microsoft Are always releasing fixes for these.Which make you really realise how much shizz goes into building these. If Vista is gonna be completely perfect then after it is complete what are microsoft gonna employ.ROBOTS?.It will not be perfect.Infact i think that it will have more security holes than XP.All together i think Microsoft are being idiotic getting involded in such a Product.

So far Microsoft have released information that there will be7 or more copies of the OS.

    Windows Vista Business

This is meant to be a direct replacement for XP professional (My OS B))
It has all the premium features and extra tools the average je will need to set up his/or her own small business.

    Windows Vista Enterprise

A pumped up version of the Business Edition ( <_< )
Which supports File encription and supports interfacinf to UNIX(Linux?) file systems. It can also use the virtual machine mode and with the new Intel and AMD chisp it wil be able to run multi operating systems (SOUNS SO SMEXY (Linux and Windows?)

    Windows Vista Home Premium

The one most home users will want.It has all the key features of Vista's Funtionality [Like graphic and media tech]Plus includes all the availability for Tablets.

    Windows Vista Basic

Equal to XP Home in the current line up it has the security and search abilities known to vista. But will not include thje high graphic quality and Media Features.

    Windows Vista Ultimate

All the bells and whistles. The comibined feature set to Enterprise edition and premium in one pack.Best best though is of the pro looking media interface welll known to XP Pro all the full fat features do come at a cost though.

So many version may confuse the public.7 are known so far and there is a specially made one made for compuetrs with a mere 256 ram. This is thought to only be aimed at third world countries. So unless us Uk'ers are mistalen for a third worl country were stuck with the others.

Hope all of you enjoyed reading.

    Coolers ^_^

really i think they should just update xp with all the new vista stuff

make it a vista comeplete update rather then a new o.s

and when vista comes out ill buy the Windows Vista Ultimate and then give my review and you guys can see if you would want to buy it

in full seriousness though, I shall see, I want DX10 support, and I am willing to dual boot.

    I dunno, do you?
    ^ your an idiot ^

xelink has a good point thought, a duel boot might be the best option with DX-10 when is finally comes out.

Who know maybe vista will get the bug worked out by the start of the new year. I mean they would have to do something to make sure that it does not act up frequently.
