Connection Issue

My brother was being an idiot and deleted his Local Area Network(LAN) setting thing from Netwrok Connections and his internet isnt working. is there a way to put it back on? This is what he is missing:

 

you need to reinstall the nic (network interface card) drivers. is it onboard? or a pci card?

 

pci card... he could never get his motherboards to work since day 1 : /

 

then you need the drivers for that card.

btw, the onboard nic, you probably need chipset drivers, thats what i needed for my asus board that was open box

Well its like a plug and play kinda thing I dont think it came with drivers... Well im restoring windows to an earlier date to see whats going to happen.
