see for me the price doesn't really matter much...im going for the games...well im not gonna buy a 360 though since i cant afford all 3...BUT i can always play at my friends house since a few of them have one...atm the only 360 games that have my attention are blue dragon, lost planet, and gears of war..other then that noting.. as for ps3 there are SO MANY games im looking forward to such as DMC4, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Motor Storm, Resistance, MGS4, Genji 2, Spiderman 3 (spose to be really good this time lol), Tekken 6, RE5, Final Fantasy XIII and i hate those kinda games but this one looks good, White Knight, Lair and many more...this is why im getting the ps3! The awesome games! as for wii im looking forward to playing Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl (definetely), Metroid Prime 3, and Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Also possibly other future released wii games!
PS# will own, 360 is a great system but dont say its better cause it isnt. The WII is really fun but can get alittle childish time to time. Id go with PS#
Alright, so, let me start off saying that I am a Sony fanboy at heart. When I was seven years old, we bought a PlayStation. Well, let me say that I was blown away when the PS2 came out. I remember going to that one game place FUNCOLAND (I think) and seeing ATV Offroad Fury and I played the demo for like two hours. Well, it's five years later and look at how it is now. But my prediction is that the Wii will win this generation. Why? Innovation. They are the weakest system this generation. They are the cheapest. They are my pick to win. My grandfather could play the Wii. That's who they're going for - EVERYONE. Not (like the PS3) hardcore gamers, not kids (like the GC), and not the average gamer. They're going for all them. Red Steel, Excitetruck, Metroid 3 - that's only three out of THIRTY launch titles. The Wii will have the best launch, and that launch will skyrocket them into the lead, and they will keep it. Sorry Sony, but I'm going with Nintendo on this one.
PS3 - The biggest thing to hurt this console is the massive price tag. Sure, it might be good value for what you get (Blu Ray) but at the moment there's little demand for it. That might change over the next few years, but it's a risky gamble at best, and if it backfires and Blu Ray itself falls into obscurity then Sony will have suffered a major loss. 360 - Already released and seems to be going strong. It's trump card is the Live service, but really isn't offering too much more over earlier generation consoles other than more capacity and thus better presentation and longer content. With Sony and Nintendo bringing out various new aspects that could hurt, but 360 already has a strong fanbase anyway. Wii - Has the potential to "win", although it's obviously no certainty. Nintendo too are taking a gamble with the Wii's control setup. Most (but not all) games are likely to make use of this, so the console's success is going to rely a lot on how this works out. If it fails then Nintendo's sales are going to fall drastically. The price is a great strong point though, to the point I've seen many forum goers considering it as a second system to compliment their PS3 or 360.
you do realize that 360 $400, plus live $70/year, plus Charge kit which is like i dunno $50+? plus HD-DVD add on $199...while ps3 has better features for its price tag
I would like to buy both but when it comes to cash I have none. I would like to buy PS3 because it supports more of my needs but the wii is smexy with its controler...descisions descisions
I'm gonna get the Wii, because the Xbox 360 has all those glitches, the PS3 is too expensive, and I just really like the innovation in that controller, it seems really fun after seeing the TGS.
