Help Me With Recovering My Hard Drive

I have 2 hard drives on my computer and I think I got a virus so my 2nd hard drive doesnt show anymore. Is there some way I can recover it?

 

is it external and conected through a usb 2.0 port?

 

no its internal. I downloaded a program and its searching for the files now but I dont kno if its going to work.

 

try using a live linux CD and see fi that helps. if it does ti is indeed a virus, if it doesn't your drive or somethign conecting it is either dead not receiving power or not plugged in.
