If you have a good dictator then a dictatorship is fine, think about it though how many good dictators are there?

Hilter was a good one, in the sense of, he knew how to control his country. Not his morals, or how he killed millions of jews, but in the sense of being a dictator. Lol, that probally made no sense, but eh, hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say.

dictatorship is a hitler/stalin style regime - you do what i say, because i am the boss and i said to do it!!

no idea what the other is, i reccomend we shoul have the world under one government, preferably the government from the movie Starship Troopers,
such a quality way of doing things!

    Merged Post:

The only good thing about Hitlers regieme was that everyone had a job, everyone was happy (except the jews)
there was mass employment, not mass unemployment, i believe that was the biggest PRO-hilter - anyone follwoing what i mean? lol

A dictatorship is the best form of government when it is ruled by a good leader. But in History we see many cases where the ruler comes up and becomes dictator and he becomes greedy with power or just a elitist and doesn’t care about his people, this turns it into a oppressive government. But if you have a good leader who does not become greedy or an elitist then you have a major advantage of speed and the ability to get things done a lot faster than other countries. Also if the power is in a sole indiuval (a good indivuial) then there won’t be outside influences or briberies. Because when you have over 400 people who make your decisions and laws then there is a high chance of someone taking bribes. And if you are the sole leader for life, then what is the advantage of having money lol. A theocracy is bad for people who do not follow the main religion. If you look at Islam and the spread of Islam, they did not force people to convert but them placed a special economic taxes on people who did not follow Islam. But the advantage of a theocracy is that the majority of your laws are through the religion, and everyone is aware of the rules. And the most learned men or the religion make the new laws when new situations which aren’t covered by the religion. Hope that helps you.

a country really shouldent be run by religious guidlines thats like saying America will be run by Roman Catholic but we know theres many people who aren't roman catholic maybe theres benifits maybe theres not.

A dictator would be a bad idea because if you know some dictators in the past have gotten a little carried away and have taken too much control like in Rome for example when Julius Caesar was a dictator alot of people got angry at him, and they decided to murder him which led to Civil Wars in Rome.... Not a great idea to have one in my opinion

In both of those instances, it is my opinion that all of the benefits fall onto the Government, and all of the hardships fall on the unfortunate citizens that would be certainly oppressed by either.
