Irony.

I'm not an overtly religious person (and by that I mean, not at all) but my mother just called to tell me that her secretary's brother (a priest) had been made a Bishop. In part of becoming a Bishop, he has been granted a private audience (he and his mother) with Pope Benedict.

Therefore, I have been told by my mother (whom is very, VERY religoius) that I am going to receive a sacred medal that is to be hand blessed by the Pope.

I'm certain that I should care more than I actually do, but I don't know. I guess I'm just not.

It is kind of cool, though.
