    i was just looking at a few render blending tutorials and I'm having a bit of trouble blending my render with the feather+ magic wand method.

    here are my steps:

    CTRL+ click on render layer
    Select Magic Wand Tool
    Right Click -> Select Inverse
    Click DEL

    but nothing happens when i click DEL.

    Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

    Ctrl click the little square thing in the Layers Panel.

    Go to Select/Feather and the put in how much you want to feather by.
    Go to Select/Inverse.
    Then just press delete.

    Here's my rendering tut.
