not a bad build.only thing i can say is spend th extra 5$ and get a DVD burner insteed of a plain old reader. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16827152058 the one above can be flashed to read DVD-RAM if so desired. it's fairly well balanced and is on te whole pretty good. in full seriousness for a 'moderate' OC you won't even need the infinity, if you're fine running under 3.2-3.0GHz or so there is relatively little need. I have an infinity myself and must sqay it is a good cooler... I just like to baby my parts.
xelink is right, you should go with the CD/DVD burner...I thought I actually put that in there, but I guess I didn't. Also, if you were to cut the costs on something like your mobo, and maybe your PSU, you might be able to get a better GFX card. I would say that the x1800 or x1900 would be the way to go but if I am not mistaken those cards are like $300. xelink or johndapunk might have a better and cheaper alternitive for you though. BTW chirs that last little part about you babying your parts, that is pretty funny. If you baby your parts so much then why did you break your mother board. LOL
HA HA HA, so much for babying you part well //hour-duality that build that I suggested should work well enought for you, just glad I could help. and honestly that x850xt is the best bang/$ right now, and it should play most games at a resonable rate as well. -- UPDATE -- I changed the mobo link to the other DS3...it has much better reveiws and onboard video. However you might have to check with someone else to make sure that the pioneer RAM will work.
