hey guys i am doing a report on charls darwin and need things like video in it

    i came across this stream

    http://video.pbs.org:8080/ramgen/evolution...ents/e_s_2.smil

it will play in real player but i need it saved on my comp as a wma or windows media supported program as the school computers only have window midea player

i have tried recording the steam but it only comes up as a rl file, then once i tried to convert (using several programs) their is only sound, or nothing or its all scrabbled

so in short if someone could plz show, or make this stream a wma i would really appreciate it and offer all my current creds to show my gratitude

    thx grechy ;)

Get the trial version of Camtasia Studio, and use that to record what you see.

Edit: Note that to just record the screen, you'll have to disable hardware acceleration on your graphics card. This will slow your computer down quite a bit.

you can try to hold a digital camera near the screen and play the video, taping it on the digital camera and then uploading that ,i did that once, it didn't come out too bad
