Unless your not a boob man, and your an ***/face man like myself... And I went to the Tool concert when they came through Denver on August or July (forgot which, I am pretty bad with dates recently) 30th with Isis. Saw KoRn, Deftones, Stone Sour, 10 Years, Fly Leaf, Dir En Grey, and a couple other bands only a couple of weeks earlier. Also going to go see the Rob Zombie, Godsmack and Shinedown concert on the 21st, and Megadeath, Lamb Of God, Opeth, Arch Enemy and some unknown bands on the 16th (both of September). Too many good bands in so little time!
I went to one in Jacksonville, FL not too long ago with Tool playing. Earlier this year I went to a Korn concert with some other great bands there. A couple years before that, I went to 2 Metallica concerts with Linkin Park in Atlanta, GA.
In the course of two years (this was a few years back), I saw Tool, then A Perfect Circle, then Tool again, and then A Perfect Circle again. A great show, both times I went. When I went, they did Sober for the first time in like five years. Opening bands were, erm, interesting. Fantomas & Tomahawk.
They didn't play sober, and I knew they wouldn't. I hear they never do. I haven't been to concert in years, but now, I'm going to go to as many as I can I wanted to see that family values tour (korn) also, but never got tickets. Axiom, wasn't it canceled?
I was gonna get FMT tickets, but decided against it. I don't think I could bare Korn again for a tenth time, and the singer from The Deftones has worn my eardrums thin. I'd go only to see Bury Your Dead, maybe Deadsy. I think the Korn/Stonesour one-two punch sealed the deal for me.
