A C4D is a abstract render made in Cinema 4D. You put them in sigs to put some effects in it, or some other reasons. C4D is the definition of whored. lol

    Erm ... No

A C4D isnt a abstract render... its just been whored endlessly like that

C4D or Cinema4D in long is a 3DModelling progarm by Maxon as said previously

I call those abstract renders or effect renders - In C4D you can do animations , Model anything - cars , real-life objects or whatever by using advanced techniques :) << Thats advanced stuff - Doing renders is basic

But anyways just a summary :)

I'd have to agree with you there, it's annoying when people just call them c4d's. And technically, a "c4d" would actually be the file type, which means people wouldn't be able to open them in PS :P

You can make abstract renders in other modelling programs too though. c4d Just seems to be the most common.

and if you get c4ds in tiff or tga format don't worry just use screen overlay or colordodge on them.

C4D is very effective render what greats nice effects and depth. I rarely use them, but they are nice addon to sigs.
