    What should i get when i get my new computer?
    Windows XP media centre
    or
    Windows XP Home edition

    Awesome especially if you have a sh*tload of music /videos/movies on your pc.

    if there is no cost diference media center.

    media center is built upon the same base as XP pro so you get a vast majority of the XP pro only stuff.

    how they hell did you get MCE though that's onyl aailable to OEMs as far as I know.

    if you have to pay extra though, no reason to f with MCE. especially since its unlikely you would use its features.
