nobody else has recommended it. it's exactly what you're asking for. to me, comedy is something that should make you laugh. i don't laugh at naruto or bleach. that's just me. the first episode of it should throw you off though (that's not the actual anime quality). animation/storyline/music is good. try it.
Beserk, Tank Police, Karas, Paranoia Agent is good too but u gotta watch it a couple times to understand it. Vampire Hunter D (both movies) Ninja Scroll the series Gungrave (end was sad as hell to me)
