i'm stuck between a few different promotional products. 1. branded magnet calenders http://www.wp4promos.com/ProductDetail.asp...goryID=3&Page=2 and 2. branded post-it notes http://www.wp4promos.com/ProductDetail.asp...oryID=16&Page=3 there are pros and cons for each. has anyone had any hands on experience promoting a business this way? do either of them convert well? i have some buddies who claim some quality magnets are kept on fridges for years at a time.

i like the idea behind both calenders and post-it notes, but i'm just not sure which ones are more effective. i like the idea of the calenders because i could picture myself putting one of them on my fridge, but then again post-it notes could actually be used.. and on top of that, if you write stuff for someone else on a post-it note, now they just advertised your business FOR you... but then again post-it notes don't stay around long, but magnets could be around for years and everyone who visits your home will see it. i'm still stuck
I just realized... a lot of these things aren't used anymore because they have been replaced by computers/electronics. People don't use pens, paper, calenders as often because of this.. what else is left for promoting? like flash drives, beer mugs?
Small flash drives. I work in a Pharmacy and the sales reps for the drug companies give these out like candy.
personalyl id think that the post-its are better. sure magnet calenders are kewl and all but now-a-days who actually uses calednders. its all organizers or those massive ones for the family. i think people use post note more often. plus a calender stays in one home but post its can be portable.
