jimma has some sound advice, i mean it is only a quick button hit...

my advice is to check drivers/hardware for conflicts, and maybe if all else fails get a new PSU.

fresh reformat also never hurts, removes pointless clutter file corruptions etc. has photoshop always acted liek this or just recently, if always then it could be a bad install. only time i get erros with photoshop is when I go to shut down windows with PS still open, though I've experienced that on every system I have used, those at school, several I've built upgraded etc. and yeh..

try re-installin, delete folders through program files, then do a regclean.

if its still not responding, ram upgrade ;) how much ram have you got?
