Last night firefox updated or something and now whenever I open it my settings are never saved... all my changes to the tool bar etc just reset... as well as that all my bookmarks are completely gone...

Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

Hmm.. Maybe something might have corrupted the Firefox Install data, try removing and deleting it completely including the directories. If that doesn't help you'll have to re-install the windows.

Actually, that happened to me before. Suddenly all my bookmarks were gone and it acted like it was just installed. I fixed my toolbar and closed it, then when i reopened, it reset again. I even reinstalled firefox and it did the same thing. I never fixed it, I had to reformat anyway :)

That's because when you uninstall Firefox, it doesn't delete your profile folder. So when you reinstall, it uses the ssame one. Delete that folder, and you would've been set.
