    i think its useful...takes no time to say "lol" instead of "wow that made me laugh"
    just speeds up conversation :)

    i guess it does get a little annoying once in a while

    i dont mind any of the abreviations, as i use them myself. i just think that people who use them offline sound like idiots.

    last year this rich biznatch kept saying "WTF!!" all the friggin time and all i wanted to do was break her legs off and beat her with them.

    I hate when people first of all pronouce lol as "lawl"
    when it should be pronounced L O L
    Then people start typing lawl, instead of lol, which is just about the lamest thing ever
    It is an acronym(sp)
    It makes even less sence when you put the z's after it like
    lolzz omgzz lawlzzzz
    People need to think about "wtf" they are doing.

    It gets out of hand when people start saying stuff like roflmaololzomg etc etc. THATS when it makes me the maddest....And especially when people add like z on omg or sszz on lol or something like that..

    I have a friend who always says 'zomg', pronounces it

    "ZOH-mah-gawd"

    its sooooooooooo frustrating :(

    Its ok when saying it online, but if you do in real life then you do have a problem like equivalent said.
