    .....between a 'C4D Render' and a 'C4D Effects Render'?

I've got some tutorials on my PC and in a few of them, one of the steps says 'make sure you use an effects render'.

I'd love to, but I've no effin' clue as to what they are.

Anyone who can shed some light on this for me would earn my gratitude.

    :D

I thought Effect renders were like the ones you use to set to Lighten/Screen/whatever and they add an effect to your sig.

And C4D renders are like the solid ones that you normally put in as is/only change the color, like for an LP or something.

When it says effects , usually it has some special details... or resembling something. Maybe checkered , swirl and etc.

C4D render is just usually a C4D abstract piece used to enhance the flow of the sig. Mostly their background is black but when set on lighten and etc. it won't show it.
