Exctaly! But the coraptions are getting the money which they are using to keep the american people happy. If you look at america the genreal popluations feel content with themselves and feel happy and this is off the backs of workers in China. America would be absolute crap without the workers in 3rd world countrys
Again, it isn't really America's fault. it may be nice to get things cheaper, but the reason Chinese citizens work for so little is that there is so much overpopulation and too few jobs. No one can demand higher pay because some one else will always fill in the spot working for way too little money. I don't think this can be considered America's fault though.
Wow! after this post I will not be posting any more because i just cant stand you. Ok. First off when GOVERMENT FUNDED AMERICAN Coropations GO INTO China and SET-UP factorys for the PEASANTS to come and work for absolute nuthing. What is sad is that the PRODUCT THEY MAKE is almost 100x what they get paid a HOUR to make. They will never be able to buy what they make. How is that right!
I didn't say it was right, I said it was wrong. However, it is not really an American citizen's fault. It is the fault of large corporations as I stated in my previous posts who only care about money. Of course i feel this is unethical and wrong, but you can't just say it is America as a whole who is responsible. China is so overcrowded that people there are willing to work for so little, and are taken advantage of. I think we are agreeing just missing each other's points here. Again, this is way off topic, so let's try to get back to the real discussion.
To be honest the only reason why the government is taking advantage of the people is because the people don't do anything. So if you really want change, do something about it. Complaining about something the government did wont make them change they're mind. Start a protest, speak out against the government, ANYTHING that will let the government know that the people are upset with the way things are going. Yeah I may be a little on the hypocritical side here because I don't do anything, and I know it. But my point here is, if it bugs you so much then do something about it, you can't expect change from complaining. In my opinion people have every right to be mad at the US in general. We're don't do anything that would contribute to making the US a better place. (No...I am not taking sides I'm just saying what I think)
Educate the masses then arm them. You may see this as "complaining" but I am educating. A revolution WILL come and the more educate you are about the horrors of America the more you will be prepared.
I really can't see it as education, it sounds like your just trying to change peoples minds. If you really think of it changing the world then by all means go ahead and think that, I'm not saying it's wrong nor right...but people will have opposite opinions to others.
 Did you know 47% of americans cudnt point their own country out on a world map? The fact is the world isnt perfect and not anyone here could find a solution to our worlds problems. Im just gonna get by and die simple as that. And i agree with Morv's first reply nobody cares, which in reality is true. Are any of you now going to go campaign against terrorism and all the other things raised in this thread? I doubt it. but obviously one of you now is going to come up with a witty reply for what i just sed because your view is more correct then everyone elses
Yes protesting is complaining but I'm talking about people saying the government sucks and doing absolutly nothing about it...at least with Protests people are getting together and planning on speaking out against the government. While the complaining I'm talking about is someone sitting there saying we have a bad government and leaving it at that.
change it to something everone likes...yeah. because you can please everyone at once.....without the use of mind control.... folks, we got an idealist on our hands. watch out. oh yeah creepy......dont ignore my valid arguments, you just prove my point. as was said last time, in a proper debate, YOU are the affermative, i am the negative. if i say somthing that you dont refute, i win. you lose.
Not going to take the time to read every single post as I am not interested in getting into a heavy political debate at this time. However I was skimming the posts and this particular response caught my eye. I have flown recently, in fact, I flew two weeks ago. From California, to Texas (where I was actually going on a military base for a few days, Lackland AFB and no, I am not military). Now, you said they search everything...I don't find that to be true. For starters, I wasn't searched, neither was any of the other 3 people flying with me, as a matter of fact, I saw no one who was ahead of me be searched either during the time I was in the line (might I add, the line actually moved faster NOW then it did all the times ive flown prior to the latest "scare"). One could argue, well you didn't have anything suspicious on you going through. Well, we actually carried quite a few items through security as carry ons, that they didnt even question us on. One person traveling with me carried at least 4-5 bottles of medicine, another carried a laptop computer and an ipod, along with all its accesories/batteries. I myself carried through a digital camera, and some chapstick. Everyone in my traveling party also carried cell phones. Was I inconvienced in any way? Not that I recall. I know for a fact they also didn't search my luggage that went in the storage part of the plane. How do I know this? I duct taped my suitcase together so that the only way it could be opened, was to cut the tape. When it arrived at its destination, the original taping was still in place. So I didn't see any loss of time, I had actually made really good time going through security, faster then any previous time in the last few years, and I have flown a fairly decent amount over the last couple of years. As a side note, I also found I had no problem entering Lackland AFB. There was four of us in the car that drove onto base, and only the ID of the driver was checked. I was also permitted to photograph, and video tape all but 3 locations on the entire base. I was allowed to enter the barracks, as well as many other facilities on base. I could also drive the car to any place on base, except the place where they do in field training for warrior week.
I stand corrected This isn't debate class <_< I just wanted to see your views on the media not on this iraq crap.
