    It's alittle diffrent then President's Day. Mainly because there is nothing stopping a black man from being President. Martin Luther King, was good man. "Non violent, non violent." Wise words.

    However he devoted his life to making life better for the black man. Hence, why it is a black holiday. My school does not normally get off for MLK day, and every year we have this protest from the black people from our school. *rolls eyes* It's ridiculous. Black people take pride in Martin Luther King, and it's understandable. However not my holiday.

    I disagree with everything that was said in the email. What gets me is that the straight laced black men that are working for a living are still looked at as a gangster by alot of white idiots.

    For example, if there was a white women walking down the street and saw a black person walking passed her, she would be freaked in someway, even if he was wearing decent clothes. If it was a white guy in the same outfit, it would be a different story. I just hate people like that!

    Thats mainly when someone is just suspicious.

    Not racism.

    However, if you think just because a black man acts civil, that he will not rob/shoot/do a wrong deed, thats dumb and just not true, he might, he might not, you dont know, he barely knows what his actions are next. And that goes for any race.

    Maybe theres a REASON she gets freaked...

    black people have gangsters amoungst them, unlike most whites... we just got some faggots that like to think they are "gangsta"s... but its because of the color of skin, correct, cuz some black people could be gangsters. How should we know? should we let our gaurd down till its too late?

    personally Im not afraid of them.. but the chick in ur example which I've heard before, its normal..

    martin luther king jr. devoted his life to making life better for all people. being asian, i don't think i'd be treated equally if it wasn't for him.

    So did white people under the roman empire (White romans owned white slaves). We shouldn't get treated diffrently from the past. We should learn from it, not get benifits from it.
