Guys took a year off doing sig's of any kind, and I have just taken it up again. When I'm doing a animated sig in Image Ready and come to save it, it just saves a Jpeg and not as a Gif image? Where am I going wrong??????? This is something I feel really foolish asking but I just can't remember.

You have to 'save optimized as' and you should get the .gif extension.

ok on the tool bar, towards the bottom, you will see an ie symbol

click it and an ie page will pop up with your animated image, just right click and save it

Yeah, I can only agree with my friend R3venge after I have made my animated sig, I go to "save optimised" but it only gives me the option of Jpeg and not a Gif?????

I know it's something really daft becasue I have had this before, but dam I can't remmber how I sorted it.
