    Yeah, used to watch some shows of him, he was a pretty cool dude.
    Just read about it on another site, saying he was killed by a ray or something, which stabbed him right in the heart when they were shooting something underwater.

    So rest in peace.

    i would use it but you spelt peace wrong. :P

    I was watching the crocodile hunter diarys yesterday morning cause it was the only thing that was on TV, but i used to watch him alot when i was younger. Hes a great loss to Australia and the rest of the world, the work that he did for all the Australian animals and the rest around the world was 2nd to none.

    man,, i heard in school today. it was coming though.... apparently it's the third recoreded death by stingray in australia

    First thing i've heard from him was yesterday when i saw a documentary of him, where he was looking for the world's largest snakes.
    Very sad.

    Yes Steve got stung by a stingray through the heart, these are rare but the stingray got frightened by somthing, being an aussie myself we have lost a great icon a great man, and a great aussie.

    It was an accidant and he wasnt poking at it, simply creating his awesome documentarys.

    Everyone use to watch him, and most loved him. His shows were awesome along with him, Great guy :( I was really sad when i heard this.

    RIP Steve Irwin

    actually on seven they said it was the 2nd.

    Its a sad loss for Australian's and indeed the world. Steve will be missed.

    You guys are all over-acting about this guys death, just after reading the first page I yell bull----.

    He wasn't that much of an idol, chasing dangerous animals..?


    I did aswell watch this guy, and all I have to say is "RIP Steve". Anyone who is deeply heart broken is crazy, you didn't know him, he was doing crazy ---- like that and he was bound to get hurt.

    I really lol'd at Le0nell's comment tho.
