    Buddha didn't starve himself!
Thats how Buddhism came, god damnit.

The Buddha did not believe in self harm/starving etc in order to reach Nirvana.

The point is to penetrate all physical reality and go beyond. Believing the only impossibility is impossibility itself.

Seeing as how I am not a buddhist, I think the religion is not true, so I think it's a hoax.

True or not, that's still pretty insane.

If it isn't true, why would it be insane? I could tell you, "Dude! I can jump from here to the moon!"

Now, if it were true, that would be amazingly insane, however it isn't, so it isn't insane.

Books are not credible just because they are books.

Honestly, I don't think it's a hoax. There was a documentary on Discovery home and health I think. It was on before 'the girl with the melted face.' :x

As they said, he was meditating to reach the state of Nirvana. There was ALOT of news crews watching all day, every day.
