I can't afford to do a DIY PC , so don't link me parts to newegg and etc... I know non-DIY PC are more expensive...but I just can't afford it.

I saw this at a convention and I need an answer by tomorrow whether should I buy this. Other brand PC at this price gives crap stuff because it's the brand. I've never heard of this company but they allowed me to test out their PC. It's Plutotech , I'm from Singapore anyway.

    E6300: SGD$2,258 , 1,436.20 USD

video card isnt the best but it'd do. I dont understand how you can afford that but not another prebuilt but whatever. Since you'll likely not know how to OC get the E6600 but its not a bad deal...

Yes it actually is. I compared to Ibuypower and its about the same price.. seems pretty decent.
not the best gfx card but eh..
LCD monitors arent best for gaming, but i got an 8ms one and its good enough i suppose.

Norton isnt all that good. Diskeeper is great. Speakers will most likely suck.Idk bout the other program and free delivery is nice..

They got a site too ye knwo..
    http://www.plutotech.com.sg/pc%20products.htm

^ wow, did he not mention "don't like me to newegg".

but yeah, i'm completly missing the part where you can afford a prebuilt computer, but not a custom computer. total contradiction.

I don't feel like going through this kind of stuff ... and I don't care what you say. I didn't buy the PC in the end , sort of forgotten about it. I can buy a DIY PC on the net if I want , but I don't want to fix the parts myself and probably there will be lots of problems IMO. I don't find it contradicting , got my own reasons.

    Thanks anyway

typically failure rates are higher on OEM systems if system is properly built with decent parts.

also if send in a system they typically wipe your harddrive. turn aroudn time is also kinda long and it is pricey inmost cases. you have to pay to ship an entire system to the OEM for one...

if you loose one part on your system if you built it yourself, you jsut send it back for a replacement, swap it back in and that's that. turn around time is typically 5-15 days depending. cost to ship a mothebaord is about 5$ via UPS ground.

it is a hassle either way though.

my stepfather's Dell just died after 20, 30 days somethign like that... apparently he didn't beleive me when I told him that they don't use "top of the line parts" ehh.. still doesn't beleive me.
