Amd Turion 64 Mobile Processor Ml-34

    I know that most people use intel processors but there is a computer that looks good thats has this processor and im not sure what this processor is like. if some one has used this processor before or is using it now can you tell me what the diffrence is? :wacko:

    thats more of a laptop processor

    ^ correct. the turion is the mobile line for AMD. you don't really hear much about them, but their turion 64 x2 isn't bad; just intel has been leading the mobile industry with their Centrino products (and with the core 2 duo merom's debue.)

    it's not a horrible processor. compareable to a 1.8GHz Pentium M/core solo.

    is it good, it is fairly good. is it the best.. ehh merom...

    it's a good processor, but I'd go for the merom core. Its like the same as conroe, but then for laptops :)

    It's wierd really the comp is wireless (internet, mouse, keyboard) and it would help because it would mean i wouldnt have to have wires going every where.

    johnda, Yea i would go with centreno but its something that they dont do with the pc unless i bought it seperatly :(

    devastation, its an actually desktop but its sorta wireless

    so waht you're saying is that it is a very small form factor PC...

    ditch the idea of going for looks and go fo power.

    well im not really going for looks, and it is a powerful PC in its price range (tbh i dont really want a top of the range one cos ill use less than 1/4 what im supposed to) Im only really looking for something that can hold word, powerpoint and all that, and then GIMP. that will do me

    look for the $300 special and toss a little more ram into it then. Pointless to waste cash...

    it's a small form factor PC right, just f' that whole small form factor idea it's garbage.

    yeah i see what u mean with the small factor

    instead of the wireless i could use the ethrenet cable running to my ps2

    how much is $300 in £'s?
