    I lie. :(

But I have a serious problem.

My second computer is jacked up hard core. I'll give you the run down.

When I boot up it goes to the 30 second countdown saying that there are 4 options, safe mode, normal, last defaults etc. Now when I choose any of these it goes to the windows loading this, with the bars. But when it loads the bars it goes to a black screen and then the computer restarts... This continues on and on.

Now when I go into bios everything displays cpu, mem, hdd, gfx card etc. I set everything back to default and it still won't work...

I need this computer working again because it is on 24/7 downloading my movies and games :)

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Brian

By the way the error happens because you messed your computer up and thats the only way it can start up, happened to my old computer after I got it repaired.

lol thats not a blue screen of death - He said it goes black hence empty and restarts :D

If it was a boot problem it should say so and so windows file corrupted

I feel its overheating assuming it restarts itself without any warning

Check settings , check inside the case - CLEAN IT probably plenty of dust sitting nicely on your stuff , Power on and check

If to no avail - I guess you have to format - If you you got partitions then format the windows partition and not your backup if any :D

you just killed 23464 grammar kittens -_- ...

I'd say the only option is a reformat because it sounds like windows itself is properly ----ed

Boot.ini is probably corrupted. Do a repair installation of windows. Google it.
